Black Knight
The core visual identity of the "Black Knight" lies in its expansive, deep, pure black aesthetic. Aside from the red tachymeter scale on the inner bezel, the red chronograph hands at the 6 and 9 o'clock positions, and the white Arabic numeral hour markers, the entire watch is black. On the genuine RMAC1 movement, the baseplate and bridges undergo sandblasting and black PVD coating, followed by hand-polishing; consequently, when light hits the dial, the beveled edges refract a subtle gleam despite the overall black color scheme. The difference between our replica and the genuine article is that the edges of the movement and bridges lack this hand-polishing—and thus the resulting light refraction—because such polishing requires immense skill and time, significantly driving up labor costs. However, we have applied a matte sandblasted finish and PVD coating, ensuring the texture is far superior to the cheap, painted look found on low-end replicas.
Carbon fiber + titanium clasp + titanium screws
An authentic RM weighs only 85g; our product is 95g, while low-end replicas weigh 130g. Why are low-end replicas so heavy? The reason is that their clasps and screws are made of 316L stainless steel and then spray-painted.
Genuine RM watches feature an exclusively developed, micron-scale carbon fiber; its most distinctive visual characteristics are unique Damascus-style flowing patterns or natural wood-grain textures, combined with high resistance to wear, shock, and cracking. While our composite carbon fiber cannot replicate the micron-level layering of the original, we have adjusted the material to closely mimic the texture of natural wood grain. Furthermore, the bezel, case back, and the intermediate layer are all constructed from carbon fiber, resulting in a weight of 95g—very close to the 85g of the genuine article. In contrast, low-end replicas use a mixture of chopped carbon and resin for the bezel and case back, with a plastic intermediate layer; these exhibit blocky, rigid patterns resembling stone-like waves.
Integrated movement
we utilize an integrated clone movement rather than a modified 7750 movement,16.8mm in thickness, virtually identical to the genuine 16.15mm article. This serves as a key visual indicator distinguishing our watch from standard 7750-based replicas; because those models require stacked movement plates, their thickness invariably exceeds 18mm.
Water Resistance
The genuine model is water-resistant to 50 meters, whereas our replica is rated for 10 meters—sufficient only for daily water exposure (such as hand-washing, sweat, or light rain). It is worth noting that the genuine watch is also effectively limited to daily water resistance; activities like swimming, diving, surfing, and showering pose significant risks. This is due to the RM's complex "sandwich" construction, tonneau-shaped case, and signature five-screw design.
