Richard Mille began creating the RM 011 flyback chronograph series specifically for Felipe Massa in 2007. As Massa approached the end of his racing career around 2015–2016, the brand launched a final run of special edition RM 011 Felipe Massa models—the "Last Edition"—to honor and express gratitude to this close friend who had accompanied the brand through a golden decade. The "Baby Blue" hue—characterized by high purity, low saturation, and a remarkably soft visual quality—symbolizes the gentle, final farewell to the entire RM 011-FM era.
Craftsmanship: Genuine vs. Super-Clone
Genuine Product: The bezel and case back utilize a proprietary TZP-N high-performance zirconia ceramic. Created through a high-pressure pigment injection and firing process, this colored ceramic is extremely difficult to manufacture. It displays a pure, matte light blue hue reminiscent of a baby's complexion; under varying lighting conditions, it neither reflects light like plastic nor appears washed out. Furthermore, this ceramic boasts exceptional hardness and scratch resistance. The case middle is crafted from micro-bead-blasted Grade 5 titanium (an alloy of 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium). The edges of the bezel and case back feature diamond-polished chamfers—smooth to the touch—creating mirror-like polished lines that mark the perfect transition between glossy and matte surfaces. The total weight is approximately 90g.
This Top-tier Replica: The bezel and case back are sintered from high-purity zirconia powder; while they achieve high hardness and a color match of over 95%, the feel is notably substantial. Although polished chamfers are present, the transition lines lack the perfect mirror-like flatness of the genuine article; under 10x magnification, one might occasionally spot tiny ripples or a granular texture resulting from laser cutting along the polished edges. Integrated movement
We utilize an integrated clone movement rather than a modified 7750 movement，16.8mm in thickness, virtually identical to the genuine 16.15mm article. Water Resistance
The genuine model is water-resistant to 50 meters, whereas our replica is rated for 10 meters—sufficient only for daily water exposure (such as hand-washing, sweat, or light rain).
