Ivory white—a shade between white and beige
The ivory accents on the dial—found on the hour markers (1–12) and the chronograph sub-dials at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock—represent a hue that sits between white and beige. Softer than pure white, this color exudes a sense of vintage elegance and understated refinement. The chapter ring also features this ivory finish. On the genuine model, the chapter ring is created using a specialized lacquering process involving high-temperature firing (1,500°C) and micron-level precision spraying, ensuring it does not yellow over time. Our replica also employs a lacquering process; while it may not match the genuine article's micron-level precision, it is far superior to simple spray painting, effectively preventing the yellowing issues often seen with prolonged wear. In contrast, low-end replicas typically use basic industrial-grade beige automotive paint, which tends to fade or yellow after a year or so. The numerals on the genuine model are applied using a multi-layer pad-printing technique that incorporates mineral-based color stabilizers into the ink. Our replica also utilizes a multi-layer technique but omits the mineral stabilizers; consequently, while the difference is imperceptible to the naked eye, it becomes apparent under magnification.

Water Resistance
The genuine model is water-resistant to 50 meters, whereas our replica is rated for 10 meters—sufficient only for daily water exposure (such as hand-washing, sweat, or light rain). It is worth noting that the genuine watch is also effectively limited to daily water resistance; activities like swimming, diving, surfing, and showering pose significant risks. This is due to the RM's complex "sandwich" construction, tonneau-shaped case, and signature five-screw design.
Movement
The genuine watch utilizes the Calibre RMAC1 automatic flyback chronograph movement. We use a cloned, integrated movement that features chronograph functionality; it has a thickness of approximately 17mm (very close to the genuine 16.15mm) and a power reserve of 40 hours (compared to the genuine model's 55 hours). Low-end replicas typically use the 7750 movement, which exceeds 18mm in thickness and generally offers only a 24-hour power reserve.
