Rose Gold Chrono Aquanaut 5968R-001 Root Beer

At first, I was interested in the 5968A or 5968G models. However, I already own too many steel watches, so I ruled out the 5968A. As for the 5968G "Green Grenade," it is made of white gold, but the critical factor for me was the thickness—13.9mm. I strive for perfection and want a version that is as close as possible to the genuine article, so I chose the rose gold 5968R. Its thickness is 13mm compared to the genuine model's 11.9mm; that 1.1mm difference is virtually imperceptible to the naked eye. The 5968R utilizes a modified clone flyback movement. The start/stop pusher operates normally—albeit slightly stiff—but the flyback pusher is extremely firm. At one point, I actually thought the flyback function wasn't working, but it engaged once I pressed down with significant force; the two pushers simply require very different levels of pressure. Regarding the sound of the movement: the rotor is quite loud when you move your wrist, though the sound is pleasant, and the ticking is audible as well. This gives me the feeling of wearing a genuine Patek Philippe, even though it is a replica. Unless you examine it very closely, the appearance is almost identical to the real 5968R, and the finishing on the details is excellent.
