The RM 67-01 is an entry-level lifestyle watch, the first timepiece in RM history to combine the classic tonneau shape with an ultra-thin, extra-flat design. Why choose Grade 2 Titanium
Grade 5 titanium is too hard and has poor thermal conductivity. When machining the ultra-thin, curved case of the RM 67-01Ti, the cutting tools are very prone to breakage during CNC precision machining. Machining a Grade 5 titanium case often requires discarding several expensive imported cutting tools, and the machining speed must be extremely slow. Because replicas need to reduce costs, time and budget constraints prevent the use of Grade 5 titanium.
Grade 2 titanium is even harder, more ductile, relatively easier to machine, and has a moderate processing cost. It also possesses hypoallergenic and corrosion-resistant properties.
